Paper bubble wrap is a more sustainable alternative to traditional types. It is completely biodegradable and recyclable and it is the strongest of its kind because of the deep indentations that were made during manufacture.

Rolls of bubble wrap are typically manufactured in two widths: 1500 millimetres and 1200 millimetres. These widths can also be cut into rolls of a smaller width; for instance, a 1500mm roll can be delivered in bundle form as two 750mm rolls, three 500mm rolls, or five 300mm rolls. As a common industry standard, small bubble wrap rolls have 100 metres of material and large bubble rolls have 50 metres of material. We also provide a variety of smaller-width rolls for usage by retailers.

Bubble wrap comes in three primary varieties: Paper, Mono, and Barrier. The degree of sustainability is impacted by the type you select.

Paper bubble wrap is our most environmentally friendly option as it is 100% recyclable and biodegradable. Mono is made from one kind of plastic PE and therefore is simple to recycle but ensure to check your local council’s recycling guidelines first. Barrier bubble wrap contains multiple types of plastic and the barrier layer is usually made from nylon which is a contaminant and therefore difficult to recycle.

Our more sustainable options are therefore paper or mono bubble wrap.
